Today in class we reveiwd the test so tomorrow we are going to take it. Pretty pumped

Today in class we watched more of the video which took a decent fifteen minutes to load. We also talked about how animals played a big part in the early days of the world. They used all different types of animals to do some many different things. They used cows to plow fields, for fur, milk, and for meat too. They used pigs that could be used for meat and small labor. They would primary use animals that could provide them with the most work and goods and usually were feed by grass. 

Today in class we started to watch the movie on Jared Diamond which is a pretty rad name. you could be called j dawg.  They video showed j dawg going in throughout the island of newguina. While he was there he studied the way that they lived and really got into depth on the way they lived. They use the inside of the tree that produces a type of grain. The people there wonder why us white men have so many and they have so little cargo. Cargo is what they call what we had.

Today in class we started the section on urban geography. We also I got our grade’s back from the exam and I really liked my grade. Urban geography is mainly I guess we are going to learn about more of the  cities and what living and the lifestyle is like living in the city. 

Friday in class we talked about what the essay is going to be about. Which is that it is going to be a five paragraph essay which each paragraph stating and talking about something we learned and why do you think we learned it. The essay should be easy. I am writing mine over the weekend so that I have something to look off of and study before the test. 

Today in class we talked about the final and what everything is going to be on the final. It seems fairly easy. Just you have to know the 5 key topics we went over this past year and you have to wright an essay on each topic that we did which should be fairly easy.  Just go to study and hope for the best. 

Today in class we went over the test and went through all the answers I did okay on the test. I messed up on a couple questions and they were just stupid mistakes I could’ve gotten a hundred. For the rest of the time in class which was like eleven minutes we talked about Nelson Mandala who seems to me is the type of man that makes the world be a better place. He is the guy that you would want someone to look up to instead of some Lil Wayne. He went to jail for something he believed in kind of like John McCain. John was a prisoner of war but he did it because he loves AMERICA.  

Friday in class we took the test on micro finance, kiva, and all that good stuff. I liked this unit because I am a really big fan on like economics and like trying to run and solve problems which we kind of did in the game we played earlier in the unit. That’s something I would really to pressure a career in. I would like to take companies that are not doing so well and then take them over and run them till they get on top again then sell it and move on to the next one. I think it sounds fun.

Today i was not in class.

1.       What is microfinance? A general term to describe to low income individuals to give them a kick start.

2.       Who makes the world wide mosquito nets? Bill and Melinda gates

3.       What is a micro entrepreneurs? A person starting a business with little money.

4.       What is a microloan? A small amount of money given to someone to start a business.

5.       What is a micro lender? Someone that lends the money.

6.       What is Marilia? A disease spreaded by mosquito. It comes from the word mal.

7.       How does microfinance help the community? It helps people to have a greater aware of things in the community and helps people that they don’t have to walk from one village to another.

8.       What does microloans do for the community? It helps the economy in the local community.

9.       What animal carries Marilia? Mosquito.

10.   What don’t banks give out more loans to poor people? Because they have a higher risk of not paying. If they don’t pay back they don’t have anything they cant take away.

Xi Jinping is the son of revolutionary veteran Xi Zhongxun, one of the Communist Party's founding fathers.

He married folk singer Peng Liyuan, who also holds the rank of army general, in 1987. To many in China, Ms. Peng was the better-known half of the couple before Xi Jinping became leader of the Communist Party.

The couple have a daughter named Xi Mingze, who is studying at Harvard University in the US.

He taught Political Science at the Vidiyanagar College, and worked as a journalist before entering politics.

Mukherjee was rated as one of the best finance ministers of the world in 1984 and was adjudged the best parliamentarian in 1997.

He had a conflict with Rajiv Gandhi (who took over as Prime Minister from his mother Indira after she was assassinated in 1984) and started his own party – Rashtriya Samajwadi Congress.

Iran / Khamenei and Ruhani Iran is a theocratic republic, ruled by Supreme Leader Ali Hoseini-Khamenei, and President Hasan Fereidun Ruhani

Today in class we took the first half of class taking pictures and holding an Emmy. Ya no big deal I kind of held an Emmy. Then for the rest of class we played the peace corps game which was kind of fun I guess but I think I would want to learn more about economics for modern America and how to survive in the business world.

Today in class we went over the test that we took last week. And let me tell you I did horrible and I mean horrible. I messed up on stupid stuff like not even reading the question properly I read the wrong word and though it was something different. It just really shows me that I just ran through this test with the little time I had I just rushed right through the test with the little time that I had. It was probably a test that I should have passed with flying colors but I didn't because I just read the test all wrong. 

Today in class we got back our results of the world leaders test and let me tell you I am really really not happy with what I got I thought I would have done better but I guess I didn't. Hopefully we can have an assignment that will really pull up my grade. But then for the rest of class we were really just told to look at the links that you posted on your blog. Which had to do with the Peace Corps and micro finance. Microfinance is when us as Americans help out and figure out what to do to help people in poverty in developing countries that are small business owners. I actually think this is a very good idea because I fell in America small business owners are the backbone of this nation they are the ones who make this country run an I am very for small time business with supporting them and shopping from them. So I think that if we help out small business owners in other countries that those other countries will have more of a kick start to a better nation. I think that would not only help out the countries but it will also look very good on the American aspect. We should try to finish what John F. Kennedy started, but first we need to fix some problems in our own country. We fix ourselves and our country then we work on the world it can be done. We could help other countries that don’t have clean water by having a big time company like deer park just send a good amount of bottled water to those countries or we could help their hospitals and medical staff so they can work more for malaria and it would be cheaper for the people that cannot afford it so they would be able to afford it.

Today in class we went over the population powerpoint and talked more about the world leaders and how they kind of rose to fame. Like how the president of Mexico Pena Nieto was married with kids and had an affair with two different women and still was elected. How the most of the leaders we are learning about revolted against their government when they were an adolescent. How Abdallah fathered 22 children. How he is worth 22 billion dollars.
